Our data can be accessed using our web application, Explorer, through bulk data delivery or via API.

Bulk Data Details

What is included in a bulk data delivery?

Bulk datasets are delivered to our customers as a file of our raw permit or contractor data. that can be downloaded directly from an S3 bucket, or sent to you as a CSV file. These files include data based on your desired specifications, you can refer to our data dictionary to understand what options are available with our data

How is bulk data delivered?

Bulk data is delivered as file exports on a weekly or monthly cadence. Customers can receive full snapshots or incremental updates. Gryd by BuildZoom Data’s permit data experts provide onboarding support to help customers integrate the data.

What file formats are available for bulk data?

Gunzipped CSV files (.csv.gz) are available for bulk data.

API Details

What can I query via the Data API?

The Data API provides access to property permit history and contractor license and permit data on demand. It supports batch requests and returns results with sub-second latency.

What authentication method does the API support?

The Data API uses header-based credential authentication.
